Bretton Woods Recreation Center, Inc. was established for the international community in 1968. It was founded as a non-discriminatory haven for international families to escape the city for a stress-free environment. Bretton Woods has since opened its membership to many international organizations and embassies. 

Located next to the C&O Canal and the Potomac River, the Center's spectacular natural setting is ideal for relaxation. With 285 acres of manicured turf and mature trees, visitors can experience golf, tennis, soccer, swimming and other outdoor sporting activities. Our outdoor pavilion area is ideal for company picnics or gatherings. The Center also has a clubhouse which boasts two dining rooms that have scenic views of the golf course. Our ballroom is another space that is perfect for corporate meetings and special events.
